BLUE WHEELS invests in energy-efficient LED headlamps

The BLUE WHEELS rental park now has an extensive rental stock of energy-efficient LED headlight systems. The new addition of lighting technology that the Blue Wheels rental park recorded in December comprises almost 300 new headlamps. Blue Wheels customers benefit from the new generation of headlamps in several ways: on the one hand, the devices are characterized by high efficiency — a challenge that manufacturers have now overcome; the output of current LED lighting technology is now barely inferior to that of an incandescent lamp. On the other hand, the devices do this with comparatively significantly lower power consumption.

A large part of the investment was made in systems with so-called “tunable white technology”; spotlights with this color temperature control have the option of changing the color rendering on the device from warm white to cold white — a real added value, particularly for customers from the trade fair sector. Project planners at Blue Wheels often have the requirement to illuminate communication areas pleasantly, warm white, but to highlight exhibits in cold white. A requirement that can now be met “at the push of a button.”
