The American-Swiss group DOW presented itself at this year's plastics trade fair in Düsseldorf with a 1,200 square meter exhibition stand. Blue Wheels Veranstaltungstechnik GmbH from Essen took over the technical implementation of the event. The range of services provided by the Blue Wheels experts for this project included the entire range of lighting, sound and media technology. As a remote recognition, six curved LED installations were impressive from afar. The so-called “totems” were special eye-catchers: LED pillars that were played with video and graphic content on 4 sides and frameless.
Blue Wheels supplied a custom-made substructure for this purpose, onto which 90° corner modules made of 1.8 mm video LED equipment were placed. The special feature of these free-standing LED pillars lies in the corner modules. These enable a frameless display of videos and graphical content. By developing and implementing the totems, the experts from Blue Wheels were once again able to demonstrate their technical expertise and engineering know-how. The Totems have met with such a positive response that they are now available to every customer in the Blue Wheels rental park.
