What a night full of energy and heart

July 4, 2025 will be remembered by all of us for a long time. More than 500 people came together to celebrate a very special chapter with us: 30 years of the LK Group! As soon as you entered the Grand Hall Zollverein, you could feel the special atmosphere — a mix of anticipation, solidarity and genuine Ruhr area power that shaped the evening from the very first minute.

Tom Koperek and Sven Robusch opened the evening with a personal welcome, which immediately made it clear how important our community is to us. Friends, customers, partners and our dedicated employees — all were part of this unique moment. Together, we looked back proudly on three decades of passion and innovation and looked forward with energy.

A particular highlight was the greeting from Lord Mayor Thomas Kufen, who impressively underlined the spirit of our region and the significance of this anniversary with his words. Right after that, TV comedian Markus Krebs made the audience laugh with his unmistakable Ruhrpott humor. His warm and authentic manner perfectly reflected the charm and warmth that made this evening so special.

Musically, the Dutch band Popgunn set off real fireworks: With powerful melodies and enthralling beats, they transformed the Grand Hall into a place full of energy and joie de vivre. But the party was far from over — in the club area, we partied until the early hours of the morning to the vibrant sounds of DJ Phil Fuldner, whose beats took the creativity and enthusiasm of everyone present to a new level.

We were particularly moved by the joint fundraising campaign for the Ronald McDonald Foundation. This important organization gives families of seriously ill children in Gruga a temporary home — support that has an effect far beyond this evening. Thanks to the generosity of all our guests, we were able to collect over 10,000 euros — a strong sign of our solidarity.

This anniversary was more than just a celebration — it was a lively experience full of passion, community and the unmistakable Ruhr region charm. It showed what we can achieve together as an LK family. As Blue Wheels, we have taken this spirit with us to continue creating unique, tailor-made experiences that inspire!
